Mark Posey was born and raised in Edmonton, Canada. He has worked as a bartender, a gas jockey, an insurance salesman, a house framer, and a cabinet installer. He also had a ten-year career as a professional wrestler. He toured across Canada on the independent wrestling circuit facing such opponents as The Honky Tonk Man, Dan Severn, The British Bulldog Jr., and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce.

When he’s not writing, Mark enjoys cooking, woodworking, watching hockey, and scrolling through social media or taking a nap with his three cats: Pippin, Merry, and Strider.

Mark and his wife, author Tracy Cooper-Posey currently live in Edmonton. They raised four children: Terry, Matthew, Katherine, and Ashley and now live in their constantly-under-renovations home in Edmonton.
